The first non-Bungie developed Halo is upon us, is the Microsoft owned 343 Industries up to the standards that Bungie left us with in Halo Reach? And  how important is the return of the Mater Chief to the franchise?

Building on the steadily increasing hype wagon for the release of Halo 4, Microsoft decided to invade a small European country, the Principality of Liechtenstein, and transform the landscape into one big Halo 4 nerdgasim.

The Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) has well and truly kicked off with hoards of gaming press descending on the Los Angeles Convention Center.  Microsoft has announced the upcoming line-up of games including new games from the usual suspects (Halo 4 and Gears Of War: Judgement) mixed in with some new names.

The world-wide release date for Master Chief's return in Halo 4 has been announced.

Halo fans rejoice, despite developer Bungie packing their bags and heading for new projects to sink their teeth into, the Master Chief franchise lives on.  The Microsoft owned 343 Industries is already pumping out details on what to expect in Halo 4.
